My mom came to visit this past weekend and we did soooooo much. I'm exhausted. On Thursday we went to see The Little Mermaid on Broadway and it was pretty good! Afterward we went to eat a John's Pizzeria, a la RG's suggestion. On Friday we went on the Sex & the City Tour! It was really fun. They showed us around Manhattan and pointed out restaurants and shops that were used in the series and in the movie. They would show the scenes that the locations were used in and we got to get out and go into a few of them. That night we went to see Guys and Dolls on Broadway and we left after the first act. It was really boring and I was so disappointed. Oh well. We went to eat at Mr. Bell's fave place after that- Carmine's. It was good but since it's family style it was way too much food. The next day we did some shopping and then we went to eat at The Russian Tea Room- HORRIBLE. It was supposed to be a surprise for my mom for Valentine's day and it was prob the worst food we'd ever had. At one point my mom said, "I wish I could throw up and start over." HAHA It was hilarious. On Sunday we moved from our hotel in Times Square to THE PLAZA!!!! OMG it was freakin amazing! I want to live there soooo bad! It was so fancy and pretty and perfect for me ;-) We had champagne at the Champagne Bar and then we had dinner in The Oak Room and after that we had drinks in The Rose Room. My mom let me try a glass of Cristal champagne! It was good but not super special. My mom got kinda tipsy and started talkin politics with some strangers. It was entertaining/embarrassing...The Plaza was definitely the highlight of the weekend, I was so sad to leave, but I have a new respect for NY. I didn't like it too much at first but now I know where things are and I have a better idea of things to do!

The Grammys
So, as you all should know, I went to L.A. this past weekend to be an artist escort at The Grammys on the red carpet. Just to fill you in, I escorted the director of Juno which was neat because he ended up winning a Grammy for Best Soundtrack. I also escorted Duffy and Deezle (a producer for Lil Wayne) and they both won Grammys as well! The carpet was a madhouse so I volunteered to take over a walkie-talkie and got to write down all the winners for the pre-telecast. People would come up and ask who the winners were so I got to talk to a lot of people. I saw a ton of celebs but I didn't get to see Justin or Britney or Xtina...I was kinda bummed about that.
After the carpet was over they gave us tickets to the show!!! I got to go to the Grammys yall....I got to see once in a lifetime performances and it was freakin amazing!
I had so much fun in L.A. I'm pretty sure I wanna live there. The weather is nice, its by the ocean and I don't have to take the subway! Everyone needs to look for a job in Cali when they graduate so we can all be together ;-)
Anyway, NY is good. I like my internship and I'm learning soooo much. I know I don't wanna live here but it's been a good experience so far. I love my roommate and we get along really well. I met Nick Lachey...I'm pretty sure I told most of you already. Nothing really exciting other than all that has happened so far, but I still have a few months to go.
ALSO- I'm going to Florida with my fam for Easter so I won't be home for that, just f.y.i.
Love you all!
